Karisma Kapoor has been in the industry for the past 29 years and Kareena Kapoor Khan completes 20 years in the industry this year. While Kareena and Karisma have worked together in an advertisement earlier, we haven’t seen both the sisters on the big screen together.
Recently, while talking to a news agency, Karisma stated that she would love to work with Kareena, but there should be a perfect script. The Shakti actress said, “I’d love to work with Kareena and I think the feeling is mutual. The script has to be really good, apt and right for us to want to star alongside each other. It’s a big responsibility, and we really like to find that perfect script. I hope someone out there is planning that perfect story is going to come to us because I am sure we both would love to work together.”
Meanwhile, Karisma is currently busy garnering praise for her performance in the web series Mentalhood. It marked the actress’ debut on the digital platform. Talking about her movies, Karisma’s last film as a lead was 2012 release Dangerous Ishhq. In 2018, she did a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero.
Talking about Kareena, the actress will next be seen on the big screen in Laal Singh Chaddha which is slated to release on Christmas 2020. The movie stars Aamir Khan as the male lead and we will get to see Kareena and Aamir on the big screen together after a gap of eight years.
The actress also has Karan Johar’s next directorial Takht in her kitty. The shooting of the film was supposed to start in April this year, but due to coronavirus, the shoot has been postponed. The movie, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, is slated to release in December 2021.
