Kareena Kapoor Khan to host a radio show

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to add a new feather to her creative cap. The actress, who is known for delivering exceptional performances in a series of movies like Jab We Met (2007) and Chameli (2004), is turning a radio show host.

Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s friend Karan Johar is also hosting a show on radio. So, when the actress was approached with the offer, the first person she contacted to discuss the idea was KJo.

A source reveals, “Just like Calling Karan, this one too, on Ishq 104.8 FM, will give listeners a chance to interact with Kareena, who is expected to start recording for the show in the coming days.”

The show is expected to hit the airwaves from December this year. On Wednesday, Kareena shot for a special photo-shoot at a Mumbai studio.

The actress confirmed the news, saying, “I couldn’t have asked for a better start on this platform. I am doing my first radio show and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

On the movie front, Kareena is gearing up to start shooting for Karan Johar’s next production venture Good News, which co-stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.

Her next film will be Takht, to be helmed by Karan Johar. The multi-million project also stars Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor in important roles.
