Karan Tacker on being in touch with Krystle D’Souza

Actors Karan Tacker and Krystle D’Souza began their acting career around the same time. They came together for the first time for Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011-13), which went on to become a hugely popular show on the channel.

Besides Karan and Krystle, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai also featured Nia Sharma and Kushal Tandon in lead roles, and the massive popularity of the show helped each one of them become a household name across the country.


While working together, Karan Tacker and Krystle D’Souza never admitted being in a relationship. However, their closeness set several tongues wagging. Recently, things got a little murkier when the two unfollowed each other on social media.

Now talking about his relationship status with D’Souza for the first time, Tacker told a publication, “No, we are not in touch with each other. Krystle and I never said that we separated because of personal differences. However, I would not get into further details on this.”

When asked if he would like to work with D’Souza again in the future, Tacker added, “I don’t really look at who is working with me for the project. As I said, I look into a script. If the script appeals to me, everybody else comes with the project, I don’t really have a problem.”

Meanwhile, Karan Tacker can be currently seen on Hotstar Specials’ critically and commercially successful series Special OPS, helmed by well-known filmmakers Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair.

Krystle D’Souza, on the other hand, is gearing up for her silver screen debut with writer-director Rumi Jaffery’s much-awaited suspense thriller Chehre. The movie also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actress said she's encountered more substantial, content-driven roles in South Indian cinema compared to her Bollywood journey, where she often felt restricted to glamorous appearances.

"I definitely feel that South mein woh zyada milta hai (You find that more) content-driven films," Elli said, comparing her experiences.
