Kangana Ranaut to clash with Krrish 3 co-star Hrithik Roshan

Kangana Ranaut, who starred opposite Hrithik Roshan in Krrish 3 (2013), is all set to clash with the superstar at the box-office. Ranaut’s keenly anticipated movie, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, will release on 25th January, 2019, a date which Junior Roshan had assigned for his next movie Super 30 well in advance.

The release date for the Kangana starrer period drama was confirmed by noted movie critic and trade expert Taran Adarsh, who took to Twitter and wrote, "Mark the date: Manikarnika -The Queen Of Jhansi to release on 25 Jan 2019 [Republic Day]... Stars Kangana Ranaut... Directed by Krish... Produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain,"

Apart from Kangana, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi also stars Ankita Lokhande, Sonu Sood, Atul Kulkarni and Jishu Sengupta in pivotal roles. It is based on the life of revered freedom fighter, Rani Lakshmi Bai.

What makes its clash with Hrithik’s Super 30 interesting is the fact that apart from being co-stars, Ranaut and Roshan were rumoured to have had an affair once. Kangana has openly spoken about the affair on many occasions.

Let’s wait and watch to know who emerges victorious at the ticket counter.
