John Abraham’s Batla House to start rolling in November

The makers of Bollywood star John Abraham’s upcoming film Batla House will commence its shoot on 1st November, 2018. The team will start workshops next week. Director Nikkhil Advani is planning to finish the movie by 5th January, 2019.

“We will start workshops for the film from next week. We will start shooting of that film from November 1 and we will be finishing the film by 5th January,” reveals John Abraham.


When asked about the release date for the movie, the actor said, “So, it’s all planned, but I think we will have to do a lot of research for the film. I did workshops for RAW and Parmanu (2018) and Madras Cafe (2013) and I think doing workshops brings a lot of difference to your performance.”

Talking about his next film, Romeo Akbar Walter, John said, “My next film will be RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter) and with every film, you have to prove a point and after RAW, I will be doing Batla House and it goes on so, overall very happy with the audience response to Satyameva Jayate.

John Abraham was last seen in Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran, which turned out to be a sleeper hit at the ticket counter.

The controversy around Sarke Chunar has taken another turn, with Nora Fatehi scheduled to appear before the National Commission for Women (NCW) after being summoned over the song’s alleged portrayal of women.

The track, featured in the Kannada film KD The Devil, sparked criticism after the Hindi version was released online in March. Complaints over the song’s lyrics and visuals led to growing backlash, prompting the makers to later remove the Hindi version from YouTube. Despite this, clips of the song continued circulating across social media platforms.
