We had recently reported a story on Zee TV’s next show based on the concept of triple talaq in Muslim community. Initially, Punjabi model Kanika Maan was in talks to play the female lead in the show, tentatively titled Ishq Pakeezah. However, if latest reports are anything to go by, the makers have now roped in popular television actress Jigyasa Singh to headline the cast. A source close to the development says, “The decision was made of Kanika playing the lead in Ishq Pakeezah. However, the channel’s last-minute change has opened the path for Jigyasa to blossom in this role.”…
