Jacqueline Fernandez in talks for Aankhen 2

One of the highly anticipated sequels Aankhen 2 is expected to start rolling towards the end of the year. While Amitabh Bachchan, who was seen in Aankhen (2002) too, is confirmed to play an important part in the sequel, the makers have now begun their search for other characters as well.

The latest we hear that actress Jacqueline Fernandez could be joining forces with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the much-awaited sequel, which is being directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anees Bazmee.

“There are five primary roles in the film — four men and one woman. While Mr Bachchan leads the team, Paresh Rawal has been offered one of the roles. A-list actors have been approached for the remaining two male leads,” a source reveals.

The source goes on to add, “Anees is busy with the shoot of Pagalpanti in London, but before leaving, he already spoke to Jacqueline Fernandez for the role. Jackie is keen on doing the film as she will be the only heroine in the project. Plus, it is a power-packed role and they wanted a good-looking actress who was well versed with action, too. She has verbally agreed to be a part of it, but the complete narration will happen once the filmmaker returns to Mumbai.”

Jacqueline is presently busy with her upcoming film with Kartik Aryan. The yet-to-be-titled project is the official remake of Kannada film Kirik Party (2016).
