Here’s how Preity Zinta is dealing with lockdown

With the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic yet to be curbed, several countries across the world are currently under lockdown. As a result, the majority of the world population is isolated in their homes, including our beloved celebrities. To pass their time and elevate their mood in these challenging conditions, people are catching up on household chores, while a few are learning new things.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who is currently in Los Angeles with her husband Gene Goodenough, is making the most of the opportunity by engaging in several productive activities. “My husband and I have been home for 22 days now. It has been tough but we are staying as positive and productive as we can,” she tells an entertainment portal over phone.

The actress goes on to add that she is learning new recipes from her mother in India. “I am learning a lot of new recipes from my mom in India. I learnt to make dosas and they turned out quite well, if I may say so myself.”

She is also devoting some time to keep herself fit and healthy. “I do work-out with Gene at home. We are not stepping out to the gym. But we manage to do enough exercises at home to enjoy the dosa without feeling guilty,” she says.

The actress is also keeping an eye on what is happening back home in India. “I end up sleeping late as I am watching the news in India at night and during the day here in the US. It is a crazy time and my heart goes out to all those unfortunate people who do not have food to eat and shelter over their heads. I wish I could do something for them.”
