Go Goa Gone sequel confirmed by Saif Ali Khan!

Speculations about a possible sequel to the 2013 successful zombie comic-caper, Go Goa Gone have been doing the rounds since long. Now, actor Saif Ali Khan, who played a significant part in the first part along with producing it, has confirmed its sequel.

Talking to a leading tabloid, the National award winning actor said, "Yes, I'd like to make a sequel. We have just started talking about it. It is premature to say anything. Some parts of the original film were really funny but some parts didn't work. Hopefully, we will get it all right this time. Let's see how it plays out."

When Eastern Eye had caught up with the director duo Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK during a promotional event of their last film A Gentleman, they, too, confirmed a sequel to the film. "Yes, we are doing the project. We are working on it. We, in fact, have the first draft of the script ready. We are still working on the logistics, though," they had said.

Reportedly, the makers will retain the original cast in its sequel. An insider reveals, "Raj and DK have shared the concept with Saif and he has really liked it. They are currently working on developing the script, which should be ready in a few months."

When we had asked the director duo the same question, this is what they told us. "It will retain the same cast. But we have to now talk to a couple of other people also if we can add them in the film. We have written a couple of new characters. That casting is needed to be done. We will talk to them once this film is done and see who is interested in doing a crazy film with us."
