Gadar 2 on ZEE5 Global shatters records with worldwide streaming success

ZEE5 Global, the world's largest streaming platform for South Asian content, is celebrating the raging success of Gadar 2 as it became the biggest streaming blockbuster on the platform. It was watched in 180+ countries and trended across multiple countries including the US, UK, Australia, UAE, and Canada. The movie successfully broke records with over 300 million+ watch minutes globally.

Interestingly, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha also witnessed a surge in viewership, recording a 5x growth in viewership during the period. Over 80% of the viewership in international markets was driven by Connected TVs for the perfect large-screen experience.


To further celebrate the icon’s birthday, fans in India presented a spectacular Bollywood extravaganza. They dressed as the blockbuster’s lead character Tara Singh and performed the actor’s iconic dance moves to further celebrate the success of the movie. Adding to the celebrations, fans also presented a mosaic picture of Sunny Deol as Tara Singh. The event concluded with a joyous cake-cutting ceremony, creating a festive atmosphere.
