Farhan Akhtar to team up with writer Anjum Rajabali

Multi-talented Farhan Akhtar, who is presently shooting for Shonali Bose’s forthcoming directorial venture, The Sky Is Pink, with Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim, will next do a movie with renowned Hindi film writer Anjum Rajabali.

Rajabali is currently writing superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s next film Saare Jahan Se Accha, which is a biopic on Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma who became the first Indian man to go to space. The writer is expected to focus more on Akhtar’s film after finishing the biopic.

“There is a film which I am writing for Farhan Akhtar. I have just begun writing it and if it works out then it might be the one after Saare Jahan Se Accha,” the writer revealed.

His production house is also gearing up to start work on the second season of their highly successful Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur. It is expected to mount the floors in the first quarter of 2019.

John Travolta arrived at the Cannes Film Festival expecting to present Propeller One-Way Night Coach, his latest project and directorial effort.
