Dia Mirza: I have never procured or consumed any narcotic or contraband substances

NCB has been investigating a drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. A couple of weeks ago, they arrested Rhea Chakraborty for consuming drugs and supplying it to Sushant.

In the past few days, there have been reports of many Bollywood celebs like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone being involved in drug abuse. It is also said that these celebs will be summoned by NCB soon. However, NCB has not yet given any official statement about it.

Well today, Dia Mirza’s name came up that the actress is under the radar of NCB and she might also be summoned soon. But, Dia was quick to give an official statement about it.

She posted a note on Instagram which read, “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless and with mala fide intentions. Such frivolous reporting has a direct impact on my reputation being besmirched and is causing damage to my career which I have painstakingly built with years of hard work. I have never procured or consumed any narcotic or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law abiding citizen of India. Thanks to my supporters for standing by me. Dia Mirza."

We wonder if other actresses whose names are being dragged in the case will also share a statement like Dia.
