Confirmed! Saif Ali Khan to play the antagonist in Adipurush

A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Prabhas will be teaming up with filmmaker Om Raut for a movie titled Adipurush. The actor will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in the film.

It was said that Saif Ali Khan, who had worked with Raut in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, will be seen as an antagonist in the film. Well now, the makers have officially announced that Saif will portray the role of the demon, Lankesh.

Yesterday, Om Raut had shared on Instagram a poster that read, “7000 years ago existed the world’s most intelligent demon! Tomorrow 7:11 AM.”

His post had clearly hinted that the makers would be announcing the antagonist of the film, and today Raut announced that it is none other than Saif Ali Khan. Well, Kareena Kapoor Khan is also super excited to see her hubby as the villain.

She took to Instagram to share the poster of the film and captioned it as, “Presenting the most handsome devil in history... my man Saif Ali Khan ❤️❤️ #Adipurush #Lankesh #SaifAliKhan @actorprabhas @omraut @bhushankumar @vfxwaala @rajeshnair29 @tseriesfilms @retrophiles1 @tseries.official #TSeries.”

Saif has always impressed us when he played a negative role in a movie. He clearly gave of the best performances of his career in this year’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior in which he played the role of evil Udaybhan Singh Rathore.

Well, it will be Prabhas vs Saif in Adipurush and we can clearly say that we are in for a treat on the big screen.
