Confirmed: Deepika Padukone to star in xXx 4

Padmaavat (2018) star Deepika Padukone is a force to reckon with in Hindi cinema, but the diva does not want to restrict her stardom just to one film producing market. Of late, she has been trying to broaden her horizons in Hollywood also.

So, after impressing the audience with her mind-blowing action sequences in her Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017), the third part of the xXx series, Deepika Padukone is now set to headline the fourth instalment of the popular franchise as well.

Yes, DP has been confirmed for xXx 4. And the confirmation comes from none other than DJ Caruso, the director and producer of the franchise. In his latest tweet, Caruso writes that he is keen to finish xXx 4 with a Bollywood song and who better than Padukone for the job.

“I want to end xXx 4 with a Bollywood dance song. Led of course by @deepikapadukone. Lungi Dance? Something new?” writes Caruso in his tweet.

The song featuring Deepika will appear as the credits rolls.

  • The merger would unite major brands including CNN, HBO, CBS, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.
  • State regulators, UK watchdogs and industry critics are still scrutinising the deal.

The proposed Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros Discovery merger has moved a step closer to reality after receiving approval from the US Department of Justice, clearing one of the biggest regulatory hurdles facing the £82.8bn ($111bn) deal.

However, despite the federal approval, the transaction remains under scrutiny in multiple jurisdictions and could still face legal challenges before it is completed.
