Mythological shows can never go out of fashion. If done right, such shows grab maximum eyeballs as compared to fiction and non-fiction shows. That is perhaps one of the reasons why today every leading general entertainment channel has one or two mythological shows on their programming list.

After the success of Karmaphal Daata Shani and Mahakali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, Colors is now gearing up to launch its brand-new mythological show, Luv Kush. As the title suggests itself, the show revolves around Ram and Sita and their children, Luv and Kush. What makes the show different from others is the fact that this time, the tale will be told from the perspective of their sons Luv and Kush. The promos of the show are already out and the audience is really looking forward to seeing what new the makers are bringing to the table.

Luv Kush has been produced by renowned producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary, who is known for bringing many mega-budgeted mythological shows to life including Mahabharat, Karmaphal Daata Shani, Porus, and Radha Krishn. With his new offering, the producer is set to raise the bar as far as mythological shows in India are concerned.

From what we hear Luv Kush is going to be one of the most expensive mythological shows ever made in India. From the magnificent sets and exquisite costumes to the jewellery and VFX, producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary has gone all out to ensure that his new offering turns out to be grand. According to reports, the overall budget of Luv Kush is pegged at approximately 650 crores. That’s huge! Isn’t it?

Luv Kush stars Himanshu Soni and Shivya Pathania in lead roles of Lord Ram and Sita respectively. Child artist Harshit Kabra plays Luv, while Krish Chauhan will be seen as Kush.  Actors Kanan Malhotra and Navi Bhangu have come on board to reprise the roles of Bharat and Lakshman respectively.
