Chunky Panday and Akshay Kumar to come together again!

Akshay Kumar’s comedy show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, is not performing as per expectations. In order to improve the ratings of the show, the makers are busy trying almost everything under the sun.

Recently, they brought onboard Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade as judges after sacking previous judges Mallika Dua, Hussain Dalal, and Zakir Khan. The latest we hear that seasoned actor Chunky Panday has been roped in to co-host the show with the ravishing Elli AvrRam.

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge features Akshay is the super judge with Sajid and Shreyas as the co-judges. The show has turned out to be a reunion spot for the Housefullgang of Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Talpade, Sajid Khan and now Chunky Panday. In the show, Chunky will be seen playing the long-separated cousin of his widely popular Housefull character, Aakhri Pasta.

Confirming the news the actor said, “How could Pasta resist this lure? I begin shooting today and I think my Housefull gang has some surprises in store for me. This new character is lethal and Sajid’s brainwave. Whatever he can’t do, he makes me do. The look will be retro and he has been licensed to kill, with laughs.”

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge airs on Star Plus on Saturday-Sunday at 8 PM.
