Celebrity fashion designer Pria Kataaria Puri set to unveil her breathtaking new collection

FASHION designer Pria Kataaria Puri’s SS18 Santorini Collection will be introduced at the launch of Runway108.com, an online platform that will showcase eastern fashion brands.
Puri’s designs are a fusion of east and west and she has dressed celebrities such as Madonna, Paris Hilton, Queen Rania of Jordan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
On display at the June 29 event will be kaftans, dresses, jumpsuits and gowns from her SS18 collection.
Puri, who is popularly known as the "kaftan queen", believes her clothes "celebrate every woman in all shapes and sizes”. The designer's SS18 collection is not available anywhere in the UK and this event will allow visitors to pick up an exclusive item.
Also participating at the event in London's St James Club is Soie Affair, a luxury scarves business from Dubai, UAE.
Soie, started by Shivani Arora, delivers silk accessories and luxury items at affordable prices.
Runway 108 is founded by Harpreet Rai Bajaj, who has spoken of her commitment to quality and workmanship of brands while recognizing a responsibility to local communities. Bajaj believes in associating with brands that shares Runway 108’s principles.
As a supporter of the British Asian Trust purchases made at the launch event will help good causes.

Dangerous baby pillows

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has issued an urgent warning to parents and businesses about a new variant of dangerous baby self-feeding products that now feature animal head-shaped pillows.

These controversial devices are designed to allow babies to bottle feed with little or no assistance from a caregiver. The products present a risk of serious harm or death from choking on the feed or aspiration pneumonia, according to the government safety watchdog.
