Anurag Kashyap on supporting Rhea Chakraborty: Yes we know better

Rhea Chakraborty was yesterday arrested by NCB in the drug peddling case. The actress earlier in an interview had stated that Sushant Singh Rajput used to take drugs and she never consumed it.

Well, after her arrest a lot of Bollywood celebs came out in Rhea’s support and tweeted about it. And of course, those celebs were trolled for supporting Rhea.

However, Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to explain why B-Town celebs are in solidarity for the actress. He tweeted, “Everybody baying for Rhea’s blood, asking questions like how did you know she didn’t do this or that to him?how do you what was he going through?are forgetting that the whole industry has actually known and seen and interacted with SSR over last 9-10 years. Yes we know better.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “And that is also the reason the whole industry has been quiet so far out of respect for him . And now it is that very knowledge of SSR that has again brought everyone out here together to stand in solidarity for Rhea because it’s gone too far. Republic doesn’t inform our opinion.”

Well, earlier, the filmmaker had revealed that he had offered two films to Sushant, but the actor decided to star in movies that were backed by big production houses like YRF and Dharma Productions.
