Angrezi Medium and Gunjan Saxena get a new release date

Nowadays, a lot of filmmakers are meeting and requesting each and others to change the release of their respective films. A few weeks ago, Aamir Khan met Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala and requested them to change the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey, so Laal Singh Chaddha can get a solo release.

Now, Karan Johar and Dinesh Vijan have exchanged the release dates of their production ventures. Karan took to Twitter to inform everyone about the change in the release date of his production venture Gunjan Saxena and Dinesh Vijan’s Angrezi Medium.


Karan tweeted, “Friendships in the fraternity are rare but when they  exist ...they are empowering! Dinoo and I have have made an exchange of dates! ANGREZI MEDIUM will come a week earlier on the GUNJAN SAXENA date 13th of March.2020 and GUNJAN SAXENA takes the ROOHI AFZA date 24th April 2020.”

Well, Dinesh Vijan’s production, Maddock Films tweeted, “This year, father’s day comes early... #AngreziMedium now in cinemas from 13th March 2020! @Irrfank #KareenKapoorKhan @radhikamadan01 #Deepakdobriyal #DineshVijan #HomiAdajania #DimpleKapadia @RanvirShorey @TripathiiPankaj @kikusharda @maddockfilms @jiostudios @JioCinema.”

Earlier, Angrezi Medium was slated to release on 20th March 2020 and Gunjan Saxena was scheduled to hit the screens on 13th March 2020.

Angrezi Medium stars Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in the lead roles. A few days ago, the trailer of the film was released and it has received a great response. Talking Gunjan Saxena, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role.
