A few days ago, there were reports that the movie might release on 9th September, on Akshay’s birthday, but that didn’t happen. Now, Akshay has announced that the film will start streaming on Diwali this year.

He posted a motion poster on Instagram and captioned it as, “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. Aa rahi hai #LaxmmiBomb 9th November ko, only on @disneyplushotstarvip! Well, the motion poster is interesting and what impresses us the most is the background music, it will surely give you goosebumps.

Directed by Raghava Lawrence, Laxmmi Bomb is a horror-comedy and also stars Kiara Advani. It is a remake of Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana which was also directed by Lawrence and he had played the lead role in it. The movie revolves around a male character who gets possessed by a ghost of a transgender and starts behaving weirdly.

UK rents stall for first time since 2017 as tenant limits reshape market

  • Rents outside London hold at £1,370 per month in early 2026
  • 26 per cent of listings see price cuts, highest since 2012
  • Signs of cooling follow recent dip in UK house prices

The UK rental market has hit an unusual pause. For the first time since 2017, private rents have stopped rising at the start of the year, suggesting that tenant affordability may finally be catching up with years of steady increases.

Data from property portal Rightmove shows that average advertised rents outside London remained unchanged at £1,370 per month between January and March 2026. The figures point to a shift in the UK rental market, where demand is no longer strong enough to push prices higher in the way it has for nearly a decade.
