After Netflix, Phantom Films to make digital series for Amazon Prime

The runaway success of Netflix India Original Sacred Games (2018), which received extraordinary reviews from national and international media, has benefited a lot of people on various levels.

It helped actor Saif Ali Khan win audiences’ love back, after a series of unsuccessful films. Phantom Films, which produced the series, strengthened its position as one of the premier production houses when it comes to creating niche content for any platform.

Looks like Phantom Films is going to continue its tryst with digital medium. After a very successful collaboration with Netflix, we hear that the production house is now set to sign a deal with rival Amazon Prime for a digital series.

According to reports, Queen (2014) fame Vikas Bahl and Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) fame Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari have been picked up by Phantom Films to co-helm an untitled series for Amazon Prime Video.

More details are awaited.
