ADF: SLOW IT DOWN

BRITISH band Asian Dub Foundation have carved out a career from combining explosive music with lead vocalists spitting lyrics so fast that it’s impossible to understand them.

They did that again at the recent Alchemy Festival. For a band that prides themselves on sending messages out with their songs, they still don’t get that most of the audience can’t understand what the singers are saying.


They could be singing a shopping list at machine- gun speed and no one would be any the wiser.

Adele is finally making her move into films. The singer will appear in Cry to Heaven, the third feature from fashion designer and director Tom Ford. The story comes from Anne Rice’s novel set in 18th century Italy and follows two men brought together by music, a Venetian nobleman and a castrato singer from Calabria.
