14 Years of Don: Shah Rukh Khan’s fans demand Don 3

While Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge completes 25 years today, there’s one more film of the actor that had released on 20th October. We are talking about Don which was directed by Farhan Akhtar and also starred Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.


The movie completes 14 years of its release today, and Farhan shared a poster on Twitter and captioned it as, “Don ko yaad rakhne ki zaroorat nahin kyon ki Don ko bhool jaana namumkin hai. #14YearsOfDon.”

The film’s co-producer, Ritesh Sidhwani also tweeted, “It's #14YearsOfDon already, and I can still remember every day of shoot so vividly. What beautiful memories! A big virtual hug and lots of love & light to a kickass team who made this movie etched in ours and audiences' hearts forever!”

Well, a lot of Shah Rukh Khan's fans have demanded that Don 3 should be made soon.

A Twitter user wrote, “Bring Back KING #DON3..”

Another user tweeted, “Dear @FarOutAkhtar Sir, plz make third part of DON franchise.  Eagerly waiting for it.

Well, one of the fans is surely quite upset with the team of the film. The fan tweeted, “Do you care about audience? Fans? for which u alll said all the time that u work for ur Fans and Fans are asking for DON 3 for 9 years now butt a dead silence and laziness by u and Excel is extremely painful even though craze for this movie u have seen with a single tweet.”

Well, there have been several reports about Don 3. Farhan had also confirmed that he is working on the script. However, the movie is not yet officially announced.

Set across areas including Hounslow, Heathrow and Southall, the British Asian drama is preparing for its next festival stop at the Kingston International Film Festival on 5 June before moving towards a broader UK cinema release.

Directed and produced by Jazz Bhalla of Reelistic Dreams, with producers Vikrant Chopra, Ben Pengilly and Rajinder Kochar also attached, the film has steadily built momentum through festival screenings in the UK and abroad.
