Yeh Hai Mohabbatein allocated a new time slot

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been one of the highest rated soaps on Star Plus. It began its journey on 3rd December 2013 and, within no time, made its lead actors Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel a household name across the country.

However, in the past few months, the series has been facing stiff competition from other soaps running on other GECs, affecting its TRP. But the channel and makers are confident that the show would bounce back to its previous glory again.

Meanwhile, we hear on the grapevine that the channel has decided to shift Yeh Hai Mohabbatein to another time slot. Currently, the show airs at the 7:30 PM slot, but now it is being shifted to the late-night slot at 10:30 PM.

As far as the 7:30 PM slot is concerned, the channel is going to launch a new show Mariam Khan Reporting Live, produced Somersault Productions, which will air at the said slot.

Ekta Kapoor is also coming up with a spin-off of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, titled Yeh Hai Chahate. But we hear that the show is yet to mount the shooting floor.
