Will Salman give Miss World 2017 her acting break?

It has been a norm that soon after winning a national or international beauty pageant, the winner eyes a career in films. From Aishwarya Rai to Sushmita Sen and Priyanka Chopra to Lara Dutt, all former beauty queens entered Bollywood soon after winning the coveted crown.

So, it should not come as a surprise if Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar, too ventures into films sooner or later. During a recent media interaction in Mumbai, she even expressed her desire to do a film with Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

We are not sure whether or not Aamir Khan is aware of Miss World's desire to work with him, but it seems that megastar Salman Khan has made his mind to launch the beauty queen in one of his upcoming projects.

According to a report published on one of the leading entertainment portals, as soon as Manushi won the coveted crown of Miss World 2017, many filmmakers tried to know her thoughts on making a career in films and even offered her roles.

The report further added that superstar Salman Khan, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai, is also looking forward to launching her in Bollywood. The report quotes a source as saying, “After Manushi won the Miss World 2017 crown, several Bollywood filmmakers wanted to know more about her. After looking at her journey in the competition and her pictures, many filmmakers have sent her offers to be a part of their film. Salman was also impressed and hence, he has also expressed his desire to give Manushi her big Bollywood debut. He might launch her in a SKF Production movie or in one of his own movies. Salman has always launched and promoted new and young talent, for example, Sonakshi Sinha, Athiya Shetty, Daisy Shah, Zareen Khan, Sneha Ullal and several others. In a time when there is a dearth of outside talent in the industry, Salman feels Manushi can be the next big thing and hence, he is keen to have her on board as a talent.”

Let's wait for an official announcement to confirm the news.
