Vikram Bhatt: Even if Raaz 5 is happening I am not doing it

Vikram Bhatt is known for making horror films especially the Raaz franchise. He has directed Raaz, Raaz 3, and Raaz Reboot (Raaz 4). Fans of the franchise have been eagerly waiting to know when the fifth instalment of the franchise will be happening.


We recently met Vikram Bhatt and asked him when Raaz 5 is going to happen. To which the filmmaker said, “Raaz is not my franchise, it is Mukesh Bhatt’s franchise, and I think even if Raaz 5 is happening I am not doing it.”

Vikram Bhatt has worked with Bipasha Basu in many films like Raaz, Footpath, Aetbaar, Raaz 3D and Creature 3D. When we asked him if he is planning to collaborate with Bipasha again, Bhatt said, “I would definitely want to work with Bipasha. But, on a personal level, I see myself taking some time off because I have been working non-stop for working more than 35 years without a break.”

“I have missed a lot of personal things. I see my parents are growing old, I see my daughter has become of marriageable age, and I have realised I have not spend any time with them. So, my next project is creating memories with my loved ones, and then perhaps I will start something,” the filmmaker added.

A few days ago, Raaz completed 18 years of its release. Bipasha had posted on Instagram, “Time really flies! The love that I recieved for this film ,from all of you is still humbling?Truly grateful ? #18yearsofraaz.”

Vikram Bhatt is currently busy with the promotions of his next directorial Hacked. The film stars Hina Khan, Rohan Shah, Mohit Malhotra, and Sid Makkar. It is slated to hit the screens on 7th February 2020.

Sydney Sweeney says she is committed to choosing films that will "impact and hopefully save people's lives" as she promotes her latest psychological thriller The Housemaid.

The 28-year-old American actor, who has appeared in two films this year addressing domestic violence, The Housemaid and boxing biopic Christy told the BBC she takes "a lot of care" when portraying such sensitive roles.
