All the safety measures were taken on the sets, but now, according to the reports, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor have been tested positive for Covid-19.

Earlier, a report in Filmfare stated that Varun, Anil, and Neetu, along with the director of the film Raj Mehta were tested positive. However, Anil Kapoor took to Twitter to clarify that he has been tested negative for coronavirus.

The actor tweeted, “In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes.”

Well, till now, Varun and Neetu have not given any official confirmation about being tested positive for Covid-19, and even there’s no official statement from the film’s team. Reportedly, the shooting of the film has been put on hold.

Just a couple of days ago, Sunny Deol was also tested positive for Covid-19, and he had tweeted, “मैंने कोरोना टेस्ट करवाया और रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है। मैं एकांतवास में हूं और मेरी तबीयत ठीक है। मेरा अनुरोध है कि आप में से जो भी लोग गत कुछ दिनों में मेरे संपर्क में आयें हैं, कृपया स्वयं को आइसोलेट कर अपनी जाँच करवाएं। (I got the corona test done and the report came positive. I am in isolation and my health is fine. I request everyone who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your test done.)”
