TV actress Mrunal to pair up opposite Hrithik for Super 30

Working with superstar Hrithik Roshan is a dream almost every actress has in her mind. However, only a very few get the opportunity to share the screen space with the Greek God of Bollywood. But if latest reports are to be believed, a popular television actress is going to fulfil her dream very soon.

According to reports, makers of the forthcoming Hrithik Roshan starrer, Super 30, has finalized the female lead of the movie. If reports are true, popular Indian television actress, Mrunal Thakur, who plays a pivotal role in Ekta Kapoor’s hit soap, Kumkum Bhagya, has bagged the part.


Super 30 is based on the life of renowned mathematician Anand Kumar. While Hrithik plays Anand in the movie, Mrunal will be seen in the role of his wife. Though her role is not very long in terms of screen time, it is a powerful one.

“They had reservations about the length of the role but it is an important part. It’s a great thing for a new actress to begin her career with. As for Hrithik, he has never had any reservations about working with newcomers. He was cast opposite newbie Pooja Hegde in ‘Mohenjo Daro’, a source reveals.

Produced by Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Super 30 is being directed by Vikas Bahl. It will mount floors very soon.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
