Sidharth Malhotra to pair up with Kareena

After sharing the screen space with supremely gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan in a special dance number in Karan Malhotra’s actionerBrothers (2015), Sidharth Malhotra could be her leading man in an upcoming multi-starrer.

Yes! According to some reports, after announcing Kalank, Karan Johar has greenlit another multi-starrer which might feature Sidharth Malhotra opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The untitled project will be helmed by debutant Raj Mehta. Mehta is currently the assistant director to Shashank Khaitan in Dharma Productions’ much-awaited flick Dhadak which launches Sridevi’s daughter, Jahnvi Kapoor, in Bollywood.

Sidharth is going through a rough phase in his career as many of his highly anticipated films have failed to leave a mark at the box office. The actor had loads of hopes from his recently released espionage thriller Aiyaary, but that, too, turned out to be a box-office failure. If the film with Khan is really happening, it may do wonders for his career.

On the other hand, Kareena, who was last seen in Phantom Films’ critically and commercially successful film Udta Punjab in 2016, is returning to movies with the Shashanka Ghosh directed female buddy film, Veere Di Wedding. Also featuring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas, the film enters cinemas on 1st June 2018.

Among the 18 shows unveiled by Soho Theatre for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, two names stand out in terms of south Asian representation: Tarang Hardikar and Kanan Gill.

Their inclusion is not incidental. Soho Theatre has, in recent years, positioned itself as a key platform for Indian comedians entering the UK and global circuit, and the 2026 programme continues that trajectory.
