Saif Ali Khan's Baazaar to release on 27th April

2017 wasn't a great year for Saif Ali Khan, professionally, as two of his highly anticipated films - Rangoon and Chef - bombed at the box office, affecting his stardom badly. However, things could turn out to be fine for the actor in 2018 as his films Kaalakaandi and Baazaar are set to have their dates with the box office.

While his black comedy movie Kaalakaandi is scheduled to release this Friday, the makers of his next film, Baazaar, announced the release date of the movie earlier today. Initially slated to release on 8th December 2017, Baazaar will now arrive in cinemas on 27th April 2018.

The movie revolves around the volatile world of stock market and how it affects the lives of people involved in it. Talking about the flick, Saif said in a statement, “It’s a story about ambition, greed, betrayal, loss, and redemption. The movie is a suspense thriller set in the world of big deals and high finance.”

To be helmed by debutant Gauravv K Chawla, Baazaar also stars Chitrangda Singh and Radhika Apte in important roles. It marks the acting debut of Rohan Mehra, son of late actor Vinod Mehra.

Baazaar is a joint production of Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment, Motion Pictures LLP, and KYTA Productions.

Brooklyn Beckham told parents to contact him only through lawyers amid family rift

Highlights

  • Brooklyn Beckham requested that David and Victoria Beckham contact him only via lawyers during a period of strained relations
  • Legal letters were exchanged, though no formal action was taken
  • The request followed what Brooklyn viewed as damaging briefings about his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham
  • Both sides are said to be hoping for reconciliation, despite ongoing hurt

A breakdown that moved beyond private disagreement

Relations within the Beckham family deteriorated sharply last summer, reaching a point where Brooklyn Beckham asked his parents to communicate with him only through legal representatives. The request marked one of the most serious moments in an already strained relationship between the eldest Beckham son and his parents.

Sources say the instruction led to an exchange of letters between legal teams at Schillings, representing Brooklyn, and Harbottle & Lewis, who act for David and Victoria Beckham. While no legal proceedings were initiated, the correspondence made clear that Brooklyn did not want direct contact or public references to him from his parents, including on social media.
