Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer finds its title

A lot has been said and written about Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s next film, which is being helmed by acclaimed director Imtiaz Ali. The film is being touted as a sequel to Love Aaj Kal (2008), featuring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

Though the makers are yet to announce the official title of the film, insiders reveal that it has been titled Aaj Kal. The banner bankrolling the film has registered the said title with Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association.


“Maddock Films has registered the title Aaj Kal for the Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer with the board,” a well-placed source reveals.

Besides Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, actor Randeep Hooda has also joined the cast to play a significant part. The film is already on floors.

It is set to release at theatres on 14th February, 2020.

Airports across Chennai and Kuala Lumpur are witnessing unprecedented crowds as thousands of Vijay fans travel to Malaysia for the grand audio launch of his purported final film, Jana Nayagan, scheduled for December (27) at Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

Videos and photos circulating on social media show packed terminals with fans filling flights bound for Kuala Lumpur. The senior manager operations at Divo Movies in Chennai described the surge as "completely unplanned," noting that flights to the Malaysian capital are "exclusively filled with Thalapathy Vijay fans."
