Jasmin Bhasin talks about her next show Naagin 4

After a long wait, Colors is finally set to roll out the next instalment of its immensely popular supernatural revenge drama Naagin. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, Naagin 4 has been in news ever since the final episode of Naagin 3 (2018) featured its promo.

The new season will see popular television actress Jasmin Bhasin playing one of the leads on the show. When asked about her reaction upon being offered Naagin 4, the actress tells an entertainment portal, “When I saw the promo of Naagin 4, everyone wondered who the two girls are going to be, even I was curious to know who will play the characters. I remember I was shooting for Khatra Khatra that day, and I get a call and I was surprised. I requested them for narration and that moment, I decided that this is what I was looking for and I want to do it. Also, working with Balaji is a dream. I have grown up in a small city where watching TV is a ritual and Balaji has defined TV in so many ways. I was a big fan of them, so obviously very, very excited.”

Apart from Jasmin, Nia Sharma is playing the parallel lead on Naagin 4. Talking about her off-screen question with the actress, Jasmin says, “I feel it is great. Both Nia and I are Gen X actors, we share the same vibe. We have known each other before and worked together for Maha-Sangam and did an event together. We have not been best of friends but we enjoy each other's company. We feel comfortable around each other, it is great chemistry. I am very happy that it is Nia with me because I am an energy and good vibe kind of a person. I get guarded if the vibe is not right. But with Nia, it is very fun. When we are not shooting, we are just talking.”

Naagin 4 is scheduled to hit the small screen on 14th December.
