Ginny Weds Sunny: Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey impress us with their dance moves in Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag

A few days ago, the makers of Ginny Weds Sunny had released the trailer of the film. The trailer was hilarious and Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey were damn good in it.

In the trailer, we had heard a couple of lines of the recreated version of the song Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag and now, the makers have unveiled the track. Yami took to Instagram to share the song with everyone.


She posted, “We can't keep calm because ?? #SawanMeinLagGayiAag is OUT NOW! The foot-tapping number is recreated by Payal Dev and sung by Mika Singh, Neha Kakkar, and Badshah. It’s an entertaining song and Yami and Vikrant’s dance moves impress us a lot. Dev, who has recreated the song, said in a statement, "Ginny Weds Sunny gave me the opportunity to collaborate with brilliant artists. Harmonizing my music sensibilities with them has been an incredible experience. I am super excited about the release of this album. All I want is for listeners to have a good time listening to these songs."

While talking about the soundtrack of the film, Sanujeet Bhujabal, Senior Director - Marketing, Sony Music India said, "We wanted wedding songs to make a comeback. The music album of Ginny Weds Sunny comprises mostly shaadi songs that have been composed by talented and accomplished music composers. The treatment of these songs is vibrant and fun and they scream out wedding celebrations. No person can be a spectator at a party with these songs playing in the background. We are happy to present to listeners songs that will put them in a party mode."

Ginny Weds Sunny was supposed to hit the big screens, but due to the pandemic, the makers have decided to release it on Netflix. The movie will release on the OTT platform on 9th October 2020.
