From Ananya Panday to Siddhant Chaturvedi to Pranutan Bahl, debutants who impressed us in 2019

Every year we get to see many new faces on the big screen. Some of them impress us a lot while some of them fail to grab our attention with their performances. In 2019 also there were many actors who made their Bollywood debut.

So, today let’s look at the list of best debutants of 2019…

Ankita Lokhande

For many years, Ankita Lokhande impressed us with her performance on the small screen. So, when we came to know that she will be seen as Jhalkaribai in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, we were super excited to watch her on the big screen. Well, Ankita made a confident debut with the film.

Siddhant Chaturvedi

Gully Boy was promoted as a film about Murad (Ranveer Singh) and Safeena (Alia Bhatt). But the actor who impressed us the most in the film was Siddhant Chaturvedi. He played the role of MC Sher and was simply fantastic in the movie.

Zaheer Iqbal / Pranutan Bahl

Salman Khan has launched many actors and in 2019 he introduced us to two new faces in his production venture Notebook. The film starred newcomers Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, and both of them were damn good in the movie.

Vardhan Puri / Shivaleeka Oberoi

Amrish Puri’s grandson, Vardhan Puri made his debut this year with Yeh Saali Aashiqui. Though the film didn’t do well at the box office, it received a good response from the critics and Vardhan’s performance was praised a lot. Along with Vardhan, the movie marked the debut of Shivaleeka Oberoi and the actress also gave a fantastic performance in the film.

Vishal Jethwa

In 2014, Tahir Raj Bhasin made his Bollywood debut with Mardaani in which he played a negative character. After five years, YRF introduced Vishal Jethwa in Mardaani 2 as the antagonist. Jethwa was so good in the film as the villain that we actually started hating his character.

Ananya Panday

Last but not least, we have Ananya Panday on our list. Student Of The Year 2 was clearly a bad film, but the only good thing about the movie was Ananya. Her comic timing was very good in Student Of The Year 2 and also in her second release Pati Patni Aur Woh, the actress impressed us.
