Flora Saini roped in for Ekta Kapoor’s next digital series

Talented actress Flora Saini, who has shown her acting chops in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi film industries, does not want to limit herself only to movies. She is keen to explore the digital medium as well.

Saini, who has previously starred in Arre’s popular digital series A.I.SHA My Virtual Girlfriend, has just bagged yet another web-series. Yes, the young actress will soon be seen in a web-show called Soggy Hoga Tera Baap.


Soggy Hoga Tera Baap will be bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor for her digital property ALTBalaji. The series is being headlined by popular film and television actors Sanjay Kapoor and Karan Wahi.

Flora Saini, who was recently seen in the surprise blockbuster of the year Stree (2018), will play a very crucial role in the series. “It will be a strong role, extremely positive,” says a source.

Filmmaker steps away from YRF’s action franchise

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has stepped away from Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) highly anticipated action project Dhoom 4, reportedly due to creative differences. According to Bollywood Hungama, Mukerji’s vision for the film did not align with the studio’s direction, prompting him to withdraw from the project.

Mukerji, who was in discussions to direct the next instalment of the hit franchise—expected to star Ranbir Kapoor—was said to have limited control over the script, which was reportedly written by Shridhar Raghavan. The director, best known for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra, was keen on shaping the film creatively rather than simply executing an existing plan.
