First poster of Student Of The Year 2, featuring Tiger, out!

After announcing Brahmastra, Kesari and Dhadak, Dharma Productions' head honcho Karan Johar has announced another big-ticket film. Johar on Monday revealed the first poster of the much-awaited film Student Of The Year 2, a sequel to his 2012 film featuring debutants Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles.

Tiger Shroff, who is currently shooting for Baaghi 2, will headline SOTY 2. The makers have not finalized any female lead as yet. According to some media reports, Disha Patani and Ananya Panday are being considered to play female leads as there is a scope of two heroines in the movie.


While Student Of The Year was directed by Karan Johar, the directorial baton has been passed on to Punit Malhotra for Student Of The Year 2.

Karan tweeted, “The FRANCHISE continues!!!! The college opens its doors to a new Student! @iTIGERSHROFF #StudentOfTheYear2 directed by @punitdmalhotra @foxstarhindi @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18 ....”

The film is expected to hit screens next year.
