Cast of Sacred Games 2 goes retro in latest photoshoot

If there is one series that the whole world is waiting for to binge-watch, it has to be the second season of the highly popular Netflix original Sacred Games (2018). With anticipation surrounding Sacred Games 2 on an all-time high ahead of its grand premiere in the month of August, Netflix India has just unveiled an exclusive photo of the entire cast of the thriller where all the actors can be seen donning retro looks.

Sacred Games 2 stars Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kalki Koechlin, Pankaj Tripathi, Ranvir Shorey, Surveen Chawla, Luke Kenny and Jatin Sarna in crucial roles. Most of these actors also played important characters in the first season of the series. Their latest picture shared by Netflix India showcases them in an all-new retro, edgy, and stylish look. It sheds light on the metamorphosis of the actors’ gritty on-screen personas into their ultra-glam, uber chic avatars.

The shoot was co-styled by celebrity stylists Tanya Ghavri and Mohit Rai. It focused on creating the essence of the ’70s Mumbai. Veering away from the characters’ looks, but still staying true to the show’s backdrop, the stylists opted for a combination of suits, sneakers, sweaters, and jeans in floral geometric patterns.

Sacred Games 2 is set to start streaming on Thursday 15th August on Netflix.
