Bollywood actors who passed away before their last film released

When a Bollywood actor passes away, his or her fans become quite upset about it. But we always remember those actors for their performances that they have given the past. However, many times it happens that some actors pass away even before their last film has released.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away by suicide on 14th June 2020. The makers of his last film Dil Bechara decided to release the film on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The movie will release on 24th July and will be available for everyone to watch it.

Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor left us on 30th April 2020. Before the lockdown was announced, the actor was shooting for the film Sharmaji Namkeen with Juhi Chawla. A few days of the shoot is still left, and now, the makers will wrap it up without Rishi Kapoor. The makers have also decided as a tribute they will release the film in theatres and not on an OTT platform.

Irrfan Khan

We all thought that Angrezi Medium is Irrfan’s last film. But well, there’s one more film of the actor which is not yet released. A film titled Apno Se Bewafai, which he shot before his health deteriorated was slated to release in April this year. But due to lockdown, it has been postponed.

Sridevi

2017 release MOM was Sridevi’s last movie as a lead. She passed away in February 2018, but well, the last time we saw her on the big screen was in 2018 release Zero (a December release). While Zero wasn’t a great film, watching Sridevi in a cameo was a treat for her fans.

Om Puri

Om Puri passed away in January 2017, and after his demise, he had more than 6 films lined up for a release including Salman Khan starrer Tubelight in which he played a pivotal role. The last time we got to see her on the big screen was in Gul Makai in which he played a small role.

Shammi Kapoor

Shammi Kapoor was known for his amazing performances and dance moves. The veteran actor passed away in August 2011, and his last film Rockstar released in November 2011. Everyone was excited to watch Ranbir Kapoor share screen space with Shammi Kapoor.

'The Brutalist' and 'Emilia Perez' lead Golden Globe wins

Neil Young confirms Glastonbury performance after initial withdrawal

FOLK musician Neil Young has reversed his earlier decision to pull out of the Glastonbury music festival and will now headline the event, he announced alongside festival organisers on Friday.
