Bachchan Pandey vs Lal Singh Chaddha: Here’s what Akshay Kumar has to say about clashing with Aamir Khan

Christmas 2020 is already quite packed. There are three films slated to hit the screens on that day, Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey, Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha and Luv Ranjan’s next starring Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor. All three films feature superstars and they all have a huge fan following. Surely, it will be difficult for the moviegoers to decide which film to watch first.

Well, recently, while talking to a tabloid, Akshay Kumar opened up about clashing with Aamir Khan. He stated, “We have 52 Fridays in a year and even fewer holiday weekends. We make over 200 Hindi films a year while Hollywood releases 40 more and then there’s the South industry and other regional cinema. So, we should be happy if we have two big releases in a week. This year, on the Independence Day weekend we had three, (Mission Mangal, Batla House, and Saaho) till one bowed out.”

Box office clashes are nothing new for Akshay Kumar. Last year, his movie Gold clashed with John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate. This year, Mission Mangal will clash with Batla House on Independence Day and on Diwali this year, it will be Akshay’s Housefull 4 vs Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh.

Earlier while talking about clashing with Aamir, Ajay Devgn had said, “We don’t know what is happening about the clash, that Luv will decide. I heard the same day Avatar is releasing in that case we both will have to run away. Avatar is big.”

Well, Avatar 2 is slated to release on 18th December 2020, a week before these three biggies hit the screens. By the way, it is said that Krrish 4 might also hit the screens on Christmas 2020. Well, looks like Christmas 2020 is becoming a favourite date for filmmakers.
