Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari visits her Panga actress Kangana Ranaut on the sets of Thalaivi

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga starring Kangana Ranaut has received a great response from the critics. However, the movie has unfortunately failed to make a mark at the box office. But this has not created any issues between the director and the actress.

Kangana is currently in Chennai shooting for her next film Thalaivi which is a biopic on late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari visited Kangana on the sets of the film to meet her. The filmmaker posted the pictures of her and Kangana on Instagram and wrote, “Because this hardworking talented human of mine needed to be hugged for #Panga ? So a surprise visit to Chennai. Jaya / Thalaivi in animated conversation with her dost to be continued. @team_kangana_ranaut.”

Well, though Panga has not done great business at the box office, let’s hope that Kangana and Ashwiny will team up once again and make a beautiful film like Panga.

Talking about the pictures shared by Tiwari, we can see that Kangana is dressed in traditional South Indian attire and we wonder if she was shooting for a song or a wedding sequence in the film.

Thalaivi is one of the most awaited films of the year and it is being shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie is written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad who had written the Baahubali franchise and Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. It is being directed by A. L. Vijay and it will hit the screens in June this year.

A few days ago, it was announced that Kangana will be honoured with Padma Shri this year. A video of Kangana thanking the Government of India and her fans was shared by her team on Instagram.
