Anurag Basu’s next titled Ludo

Anurag Basu’s next has been in the news for quite some time. The movie has an amazing star cast which includes Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanya Malhotra. The film was supposed to release this year but has been postponed to 2020.

While the shooting of the film is completed, the makers had not announced the title. But now, finally, the movie has a title. It has been named as Ludo. Basu took to Instagram to share the first poster of the film. He posted, “Let's play #Ludo! In cinemas, 24th April, 2020 @tanibasu @ipritamofficial @bachchan @inayatverma22 @rajkumarraofficial @fatimasanashaikh @pearlemaany @rohitsaraf10 @adityaroykapur @sanyamalhotra_.”

The poster features all the actors and it is quite an interesting poster.

Vidya Balan will be seen doing a cameo in the film. And a few weeks ago, Basu had posted a picture with the actress and had written, “Can't believe! It's already 20years since Me And Vidya worked together.”

Earlier, it was said that this film is a sequel to Basu’s Life In A Metro, but the filmmaker had denied the reports. While talking to a news agency, he had earlier stated, "The genre is different. 'Life...' had drama, love story and it revolved around multiple stories about relationships. This is not that. This film has a bit of crime and black humour in it. The only common thing is all four stories are intersecting and affecting each other. I don't want to confuse the audience and call it as a sequel to 'Life..'.”

Ludo is slated to release on 24th April 2020.

  • UK and EU steel producers warn of significant disruption to cross-Channel trade.
  • Hopes for a joint UK-EU strategy on Chinese steel are fading.

The UK and the European Union are facing growing tensions over steel trade, with both sides preparing to tighten import restrictions from July 1 in a move designed to shield domestic producers from Chinese competition.

Business secretary Peter Kyle is expected to raise concerns with European trade commissioner Maroš Šefčovič in Brussels as the UK steel industry warns that planned changes to the EU's safeguard system could significantly restrict British exports. The dispute comes at a sensitive moment for UK-EU trade relations, with manufacturers on both sides warning that new quotas risk damaging one of Europe's most interconnected industrial sectors.
