Anil Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor, shares pictures from the trailer launch of Saawariya

Anil Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor were good friends and shared a great camaraderie with each other. Their kids, Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor had made their debut together with the film Saawariya.

Recently, Anil Kapoor posted some pictures from the trailer launch of Saawariya and remembered his friend James (the name he used to fondly call Rishi Kapoor). The Ram Lakhan actor captioned the pictures as, “Remembering James.... Sharing the launch of Sonam and Ranbir’s careers with Neetu and Rishi is one of the happiest memories of my life...”


In the pictures, we can also see Neetu Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Ranbir, and Sonam.

When Rishi Kapoor had passed away, Anil Kapoor had tweeted a childhood picture with Rishi Kapoor and written a note, which read, "To my Dear James, I don't know where to begin. From growing up to living our dreams on screen, we were together through it all. You were like an elder brother to me, a shoulder when I needed the support, a mentor when I needed that push and a friend always. Thank you for the endless love you gave my family and me. You were like a son to my mother and you knew that Krishna aunty was always like a mother to me. Along with everything that you were for your friends & family, you were a beacon of inspiration for cinema lovers everywhere. I will miss you everyday. Nothing will be same without you. But I will celebrate your life like you wanted us to. - Your Patton forever."

Anil Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor had worked together in films like Vijay, Gurudev, and Karobaar.
