Amitabh Bachchan starts preparations for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is presently basking in the success of his latest film Badla (2019), will soon return to television to host the upcoming season of popular reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

He has started prepping for the 11th season KBC. "So prep for KBC starts and here we are running into introductions, systems, learning new inputs, rehearsing, getting ready for another year," Bachchan wrote on his blog.


The show, which aired its first season in 2000, has been synonymous with Big B ever since its launch. The superstar has hosted nine seasons of the game show. He also talked about his association with the general knowledge-based game show.

"It’s 2019 and it all began in 2000. 19 years and a gap of about two years when it did not happen for me. But 17 years is a lifetime and a lifetime that was given a lifeline by you," he wrote.

The show will air on Sony Entertainment Television.

Prosecutors in California have filed a criminal charge against Britney Spears following her arrest last month for allegedly driving under the influence.

The Ventura County District Attorney's Office filed the case on Thursday, charging the pop star with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Spears, 44, was arrested on 4 March on a southern California highway after authorities said she was driving her BMW "erratically at a high rate of speed". Her representatives have called the incident "completely inexcusable".
