Akshay Oberoi cast to play a baddie in Junglee!

The cast of the upcoming Bollywood film Junglee is getting bigger and better with each passing day. The movie is being toplined by action hero Vidyut Jammwal and now we hear that the makers have roped in talented actor Akshay Oberoi for an important role.

Akshay, who is receiving a lot of appreciation for his gay-themed short film Baby Steps, will play the main villain in the Chuck Russell directorial. Russell is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor, known for helming films like The Mask, Eraser and The Scorpion King.


Reportedly, soon after signing the project on the dotted lines, Oberoi, who will also be seen in the forthcoming film Kaalakaandi, flew to Thailand where the whole unit is currently shooting some important portions of the film.

“Akshay flew off to Thailand for the shoot, after attending the Kaalakaandi event. He will play the prime antagonist who will be up against Vidyut in the film,” reveals a source.

Produced by Junglee Pictures, Junglee addresses the issue of elephant poaching and is set to release on Dussehra 2018.
