Akshay Kumar signs another film with Kesari director Anurag Singh

After receiving overwhelming response for his latest release Kesari (2019), which hit screens on 21st March, Akshay Kumar has reportedly signed yet another film with the film’s director Anurag Singh.

If reports are to be believed, the new project will also revolve around a real-life story. It will be based in the late eighties. “The film is based on a story that took place in the late eighties. Interestingly, the film has been written by writer Aseem Arora, who had written the television series 21 Sarfarosh —Saragarhi 1897 starring Mohit Raina,” a source reveals.


Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is presently shooting for his next film Good News, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Besides Good News, he also has Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, Hera Pheri 3, Sooryavanshi and a few unannounced projects on his platter.

The National Film Award-winning actor is also gearing up to make his digital debut with Amazon Prime Video’s The End. According to reports, the superstar has charged a whopping ₹ 90 crores for the three-part series.

The first season of The End is expected to start rolling towards the end of the year.
