Ajay Devgn signs Anees Bazmee's next Saade Saati

Back in 2015, filmmaker Anees Bazmee was on the verge of signing superstar Ajay Devgn for a romantic entertainer. However, things did not fall into place and the project could not be materialised. Now, the news is coming in that Bazmee has finally roped in the National Award winning actor for a film.

Ajay Devgn and Anees Bazmee last worked together in the 2002 film Deewangee, also starring Akshaye Khanna and Urmila Matondkar. They have joined hands again after a massive gap of 16 years. If sources are to be believed, their next venture will be a comic-caper titled Saade Saati.

''The movie is a comedy and it revolves around Ajay, who is suffering from 7 years of bad luck, which in astrological terms is called Saade Saati. The movie goes on floors this November and the rest of the cast is being finalised," reveals a source.

Ajay Devgn's latest film Raid has opened to an extremely positive response today. The actor is currently shooting for Indra Kumar's forthcoming comic-caper Total Dhamaal, which also features Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi. Besides Total Dhamaal, the actor will also be seen in a biopic titled Taanaji and Luv Ranjan's next untitled film with Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh.

An official announcement on Saade Saati is still awaited.
