After Pink, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu join forces for Badla

Speculations have been rife of late that after the widespread success of their 2016 courtroom drama film Pink, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu might join hands once again for a new film. Looks like the project is indeed happening and will start taking shape from next month onwards.

Reportedly, the duo is coming together for well-established filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s next directorial venture, tentatively titled Badla. The film is being described as a suspense thriller. If all goes well, the makers are planning to roll the camera in the second week of June.


Revealing some beans on the film, a source informs that the makers will begin a month-long schedule in London and Scotland. “It is a month-long schedule and they will be filming in London and Scotland. The film is a murder mystery which revolves around the duo and Taapsee’s love interest who is a businessman.”

The rest of the star cast is yet to be finalized.

Actor seeks protection against misuse of identity

Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights, raising concerns over the alleged unauthorised use of his name, image and likeness across online platforms.

The suit targets a range of content, including unauthorised merchandise, AI-generated material, deepfakes and allegedly defamatory posts that the actor claims have harmed his reputation and public image.
