Adnan Sami to make Bollywood acting debut

Singer Adnan Sami is set to make his acting debut in Bollywood with Afghan-In Search Of A Home, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.

Adnan, 43, will be seen playing a musician in the movie.


The singer and the directors last worked together in Salman Khan-starrer Lucky...No Time for Love. Adnan gave the music for the 2005 film.

Afghan- In Search Of A Home is the story of a musician refugee from Afghanistan who flees his country of birth under extenuating circumstances, in search of identity and a home.

Adnan said "the movie is very close" to his heart as it is his first movie as an actor and as an Indian.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
