YRF plans to shoot Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 across UAE, Istanbul & USA?

With travel restrictions expected to ease off further in months to come, a number of Bollywood filmmakers are planning to shoot their upcoming films in foreign locales. We hear that filmmaker Aditya Chopra may push plans for pre-production work on the third installment of Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise ahead so that the film could be shot across locations in UAE, Istanbul, and the USA.

The Yash Raj Films’ head honcho will instruct director Maneesh Sharma to re-commence recce once things get a little better. “If everything goes as planned, Maneesh Sharma and his team will conduct a recce across the UAE, Istanbul, and the US in December. The rest of the countries have yet to be pencilled in. Tiger 3 is close to Adi’s heart as he has developed the screenplay along with Jaideep Sahni. Despite the industry slowdown, Adi is certain that the film has the makings of a blockbuster. Maneesh and he want to take it on floors by February,” a source in the know informs an Indian publication.

While Katrina Kaif is set to return to the franchise to play the female lead opposite Salman Khan, we hear that the makers are scouting for a new face for the antagonist who locks horns with Salman Khan’s character in the movie. “They want to cast a relatively new face as the villain, like they did with Sajjad Delafrooz and Sal Yusuf in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017),” the source goes on to add.

Tiger 3 is expected to be announced on 27th September as a part of Yash Raj Films’ 50th anniversary. According to reports, the premier production house is planning to announce over half a dozen high-profile movies to mark the grand occasion, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 being one of them.

The Divine Feminine: Prashasti Singh talks power, pressure, and laughter

Highlights:

  • Prashasti’s comedy comes from real-life stories, not just punchlines.
  • The show explores modern women chasing success but still feeling unfulfilled.
  • She quit a secure corporate job and jumped into comedy.
  • Stand-up made her stop being scared of talking to people.
  • People laugh together at the same everyday problems.

Prashasti Singh started her stand-up terrified of speaking in public. “I was very conscious of my language, my pronunciation, my accent. I thought stand-up wouldn’t be my thing,” she says. But her first open mic changed that. “It felt like I was among a bunch of sisters, a bunch of friends. I just forgot all my nervousness. It came out very naturally.”
