What A Shot! Shahid Kapoor hits a sixer as he preps for Jersey remake

Shahid Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in this year’s release Kabir Singh. The movie was a remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy and it went on to become a blockbuster at the box office. Now, the actor is all set to star in one more Telugu remake. We are talking about Jersey.

Jersey revolves around cricket and Shahid surely needs to get his form right to play the character. The actor has started preparing for the film and recently posted a video from the prep. He captioned it as, “#jersey #prep.”


Well, in the video we can see that he hits it out of the park for a six. We must say that Shahid is giving his 100 percent to be perfect for the role.

A few days ago, when he kickstarted the prep, Shahid had posted a picture and captioned it as, “#jersey the prep begins.”

Jersey starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. While Shahid steps into the shoes of Nani, Mrunal Thakur has been roped in to star as the female lead in the remake. Mrunal recently tweeted, “JERSEY .... ?????????? Yayyyyy I’m super duper excited to be a part of #jersey and share the screen space with @shahidkapoor . Woop woop ??”

Shahid quote retweeted her and wrote, “Pleasure to have you on board. And totally sharing the excitement mrunal. ?”

Well, it will surely be interesting to watch Shahid and Mrunal on the big screen for the first time.

Jersey remake will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who had also helmed the original film. The movie is slated to hit the screens in August next year.
